This temple is popular because of the ‘Palpaysam’ and pudding offered to the Lord. There are demi-gods outside the sanctum sanctorum. The other Sree Krishna Temple is Trichambaram Sree Krishna Temple. The main deity is God Krishna. The sculpture and paintings on the wall will transport you to the ancient times. The annual temple festival is Utsavam and thousands of devotees gather on this special occasion every year. Guruvayoor Temple Guruvayoor Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus in Kerala. It looks outstanding from outside and lakhs of people visit here every day. Sometimes the devotees have to wait in a queue to worship the God inside. The deity of the Guruvayoor Temple is unique; since it is carved out of a stone called "Patalanjana Stone", and is considered extremely sacred by the Hindus. There is a big space around the temple provided for the devotees comfort. People also have a dress code at this premises Men are allowed to wear mundu around their waist while Boys are allowed to wear shorts. Girls and Women are not allowed to wear any western dresses. Girls can wear long skirts and blouses and women are allowed to wear Sari. Thus, the temple has many strict rules and regulations and people should follow them while visiting this place. Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture and it is surrounded by lake. The idols of Lord Vishnu really get brightened when the beam of colorful light fall on it as well as the whole temple complex is illuminated. Inside it, there are two other important shrines, Thekkedom and Thiruvambadi, for the deities, Shree Yoga Narasimha and Shree Krishna Swami respectively. Many festivals are held in the temple. The Alpashy festival which is celebrated from October to November and the Painkuni festival which is held between March to April.
